Hot, but fairly normal day, just heads down going ahead. Ran 3 miles, walked with Bonnie in the evening 1.5. Saw a number of gold finches and wrens.

In the morning, did my usual shopping, then went clothes shopping with Kat and David. (On the drive over David and I saw an interesting bird of prey that we couldn't identify -- too slender and gray for an eagle.) So I'd guess around a mile total.
Walked the usual loop with Neil in the evening after it cooled off some. Total, 2.6, which takes me to Deer Park Mountain Shelter. Oddly, there don't seem to be any pictures of it online that weren't taken in winter or early spring.
