Welcome to Walking to Somewhere, a virtual hike where we plot our mileage against a common goal to give each other group support and encouragement.

I've heard of spring, but I think it's just an urban myth. Around here, it stayed below freezing all day. Brody and I did our morning walk and I got a walk at noon (but I kept running into people to talk to, so didn't get as far as I might've!). Jim was into the full walk tonight, and Brody appreciated that. Today: 4.52 miles
Spring? I don't know that word. We are having January thaw three weeks late, but that's supposed to end today so it can be cold and windy for Boskone.
The pedometer says 1.85 miles, but it said .5 just before we went on a walk I know is 1.6 miles. I didn't notice a discrepancy before, so for today I'm going to assume the pedometer got hung up on my coat or something and didn't register accurately. So 2 miles total.
It was around 60 when I went running yesterday, almost too hot. Ran 3.5, walked 1.5 in the evening with Bonnie. But reality is supposed to return on Friday.
Am I supposed to feel guilty that I'm working in T-shirt only this week down here in Texas? Well, since I'm not getting any more miles than you are in the freezing cold, I guess I should.
I'm away from my spreadsheet -- I keep it on the laptop, and I'm on the Mac right now, so I don't have current totals.
Wednesday's steps were 4199 for 2.25 miles.
Tugging vines out of the crape myrtles has been a good workout, though. Finished the last of the macro trimming today (Thursday). Time to shred those huge piles of debris I've created, then I can do the artistic pruning.

And before your minds take that comment about T-shirt only the wrong way (somebody will, I know), that's jeans, sneakers, and T-shirt.
Now, Jean, really. Who would make comments about you wearing only a t-shirt? :O
I'd be afraid of getting a rash with all those vines...
