Val, I remember the discussion about your getting new shoes, but I didn't hear what you finally got?
Yesterday was a fairly normal day, the rain held off and it was warm enough to run in shorts 3.5 at noon. Only walked 1 mile in the evening with Bonnie because the cat decided to join us.

The shoes I bought are New Balance 977 Country Walkers: http://newbalance.com/outdoor/countrywalking/WW977/ They come in mens also, so Jim and I have *matching* shoes now! :P
My car was in for an alignment Thursday, so I walked out at noon to get it. That got me up to 4.11 miles for the day along with the morning and evening puppy walks.

He would like to walk the whole longer loop with us, but it's a busier street and while he's pretty good about staying away from cars, we don't really want him wandering down there. I'm thinking of seeing how he'd react to a leash..
I'm not sure how long it's been since I've posted. I'm not sure how much I walked. I think around 6 miles, probably, counting lots of running around on Christmas errands and all that stuff.
