Today was fairly cold. I don't think it got above -10C all day. Brody and I walked to the irrigation channel and back twice, plus I dusted and vacuumed the house and did laundry (ran up and down the stairs a pile of times!) for a grand total of 4.5 miles today.

That inviting sunshine sure wasn't when we got out in the wind chill, but the hawks loved it. Got to see two red tails, one harrier and another we think is a harrier but aren't sure. So many hawks were about that a neighbor who normally walks her sausage dog loose had him on leash just in case. Also saw a woodpecker, we think, but someone new to us.
Went to Cedar hill for a walk and took an additional branch to Talbot Rd. Nice and quite in the woods. Saw a really impressive owl do a fly by, but I assume he thought I wasn't edable. 4.5 miles. Later did a 1.5 mile walk with Bonnie, her cold is getting better, but slowly.
