Another beastly hot day -- 97 at the grocery store (where of course I had to do extra walking, .7 miles), 103 on our porch on the sunny side of the house while the thermometer was still well in the shade. Fortunately it cooled off a bit as the sun went down and we got our usual walk, 1.6, for a total of 2.3.

I thought I'd be more regular in my reporting, but I guess I was wrong.

As Bonnie said, really hot today, ran 3.5 and walked 1.5 in the evening. A lot of sweating, but seen worse :)

I didn't walk first thing, but got a reasonable walk over lunch hour. It is very cold and wet here, but we had a little break between storms in the evening and so Jim and I went for a walk.
We have newborn twin calves (unusual) that seem to be doing well (even more unusual!)

Congrats on the calves. Is it unusual that they're twins, or unusual that they're being born so late?
